2024 Fall Benefit

THANK YOU to everyone who joined us at our Fall Benefit at La Vibra NYC! Thanks to your generous support, we raised critical funds to continue our life-affirming work helping children, adults, and families in New York City and lower Westchester rise above adversity.

Guests heard from our CEO, Alan Mucatel, who provided updates on our work and introduced guests to Nijah Afflic, Director of Rising Ground’s ATLAS program, and to 21-year-old, Rocco. ATLAS works to reduce cycles of violence and justice system involvement through community-based therapeutic and healing services. Nijah explained how the Functional Family Therapy evidence-based model is applied in the program and Rocco spoke about the impact his therapist and ATLAS has had on positively directing his life.

Guests also had the exclusive opportunity to bid on artworks created by young people from our Passage of Hope program, the works often reflecting their thoughts and feelings about their journey to the U.S.
