Foundation Place provides parents/guardians with short-term childcare services at our Brooklyn facility that offer temporary relief, improves family stability, and reduce the risk of undesirable circumstances. Respite can be planned or offered during emergencies and times of crisis. Foundation Place allows parents/guardians to attend outpatient services, schedule appointments for themselves, or simply take time to recharge knowing their child or children are temporarily safe and cared for. Foundation Place is open 24/7 and children aged 0 – 14 can stay with us up to 21 days.

Care is provided to children aged 0-14.

Foundation Place is facility-based care. Referrals for home-based services can be made by the case planner as needed.

During this call you will be asked to provide information regarding your request for respite services which will be used to determine your eligibility.
