Creating Positive Paths for Immigrants
In a city where more than three million residents were born outside the United States, Rising Ground works with immigrants and immigrant communities across all our programs. Families, children and youth, and adults who have come to the United States do so in many ways. The immigration process is not always easy and can come with a number of challenges. In our work with unaccompanied migrant children and survivors of trafficking, we provide safe environments, caring support, and a pathway to hope for children and adults whose immigration experience has come with difficulties and often has been accompanied by exploitation, confusion, fear, and trauma. We work with these immigrant groups to make sure they have a safe and nurturing environment, the supports and resources they need to succeed, and a vision for positive paths forward in their new homeland.
