We were delighted to have more than 260 guests join us for the Together We Rise Gala in the elegant Cotillion Room at the Pierre Hotel on Thursday, October 25. Along with the help of supporters and sponsors who could not attend in person, the evening was a huge success!

All together, we raised more than $680,000 in vital funding to support our results-driven programs helping New York City area children, adults, and families transform their lives.

In recognition of their ongoing commitment to our work helping children, adults, and families rise above adversity, we honored EY with the Excellence in Achievement Award and USI Insurance Services with the Champion for Children Award..
The evening’s proceedings were livened up by a few celebrity special guests - Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper columnist Ellis Henican, who served as emcee for the evening, and stand-up comic Dave Goldstein, who brought lots of flavor and bids to our live auction.

The real stars of the evening, however, were three young people whose lives have been touched by the work of Rising Ground. Tamia, Ayana, and Savannah shared their individual stories of how Rising Ground has helped them overcome various challenges in life and helped them find positive paths forward.

"Rising Ground has been there for me too. Everyone there has a positive energy. I always know that I can turn to them when I need help," Savannah shared with our guests.
