Children and youth (to age 21) who are covered by NYS Children’s Medicaid can benefit from our community-based services at no additional cost. These services are covered by regular Medicaid or a Medicaid Managed Care plan, if you are already enrolled.

The Support Families Need Brought to Them

Mental health, behavioral health, and substance use issues can pose threats to family stability and prevent children and youth from succeeding at school, forming healthy relationships, and achieving the mental, emotional, and even the physical development needed to prepare for adulthood.

Rising Ground’s Families Rise Every Day program provides a wide range of family and child support services brought to youth and their families at home or in the community. These services, available with NYS Children’s Medicaid, strengthen families and help them make informed decisions about their care by identifying mental health and/or substance use needs early and preventing the need for emergency room visits, hospital stays, or out-of-home placements.

This program is offered as part of the New York State Department of Health’s Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS).
