Our Fall Benefit cocktail reception at the Amber Room in Manhattan was full of warm hearts, community, and a shared passion for our mission-driven work. Guests heard from Shatek who spoke to Rising Ground CEO, Alan Mucatel, about the impact Rising Ground’s Fatherhood Initiative has had on his life. Shatek, who calls his 11-year-old son “my everything,” described how the Fatherhood Initiative gave him back his voice when he felt it had been taken away from him: “It’s one of the best things that has ever happened to me and my son.”
